I read an article a few years ago in classic ford iirc, two fella's who I think were members of the capri club international owned the two capris that featured in the show, one had bodie's and the other fella had dolye's,

iirc a PI was hired to find one of the cars which was discovered in a lock up with no wheels etc and needed some tlc to mint it back up

cowley's 2.8 ghia granada has a false plate on it during filming as a granada enthusiast searched for this car too, unfortunately he traced to a breakers and by the time he got there the car was crushed into a box shape and had gone to the great scrap yard in the sky

as for the RS sorry I didn't know jack about that until I read the above link
