Default altering wheel offset question

bti of an odd one, but here goes.
i have four wolfrace Ikon plus wheels in 15", i got them because they were cheap, but have grown on me now.
however drivng at speed i noticed one is buckled and can't be repaired, so i found another non bulkled one for £30, bargain.
but here is the problem, the offset is only 15, whereas mine are 35.
so i'd need to machine the hub part of the wheel to get it to sit correctly, but would i be able to do that and maintain intergity? i would have thought they all come out of the same castings and then machine the hub part of the rim to alter the ET for specific models.
i haven't sorted a courier to collect rim yet, so wanted to know your opinions on this before i did get it, but if i factor in wheel cost, courier and machining it'd be close to £70.

or am i pissing in the wind and just accept i'm looking at a new set of rims? would be brand new this time though.

cheers
sean
