Default Focus 1.8 TDCi cam pos'n sensor

Morning,

I've just had the ECU codes read after my Focus cut out a few times and the code that came up was camshaft pos'n sensor.

The car is a 2004 1.8 TDCi duratorq motor and I'd like to know if it's a DIY job or something I should get a garage to do. They said about an hours labour, does that sound right ?

Could this be a sign that the cam belt is near the end of it's life if it's stretching and allowing the camshaft to get out of position.

Finally, it's been struggling to start a bit recently could this problem be caused by the cam pos'n sensor ?

Any input appreciated

Thanks
