Reading through alot of this and i think like everything everyone has a different opinion on whats best. from a few main zetec turbo sites iv read that most seem to be using 8.1 /8.3 ish Comp Ratio which to be honest, correct me if im wrong guys, is smack bang in the middle of the 9.1 and 7.1. decompression plate or low comp pistons, eitherway its gota be lowered. just depends on budget and as most people have said, the main aim for the car (track toy or daily driver, etc). The main thing with zetecs aswel as from my own experience and reading around is the conrod bolts, they must be changed to ARP ones. they arent that expensive.
i'm talking for figures of around 200-260hp btw.
