an mot is a once a year check, its got nothing to do with the roadworthyness of a car even the next day and while mot has a bearing on value if its writen off otherwise is doesnt matter

and ive been caught a fair few times without 1, £20 -£30 depending how long ago it was, CHEAPER THAT THE MOT lol
