Sorry for delay, as my text reply, i'm not sure, as i brought the exhaust to use on my xr2tt, but never got round to modding and fitting it, so i've never seen it fitted, but i do know it come off a xr3i, as thats what the previous owner brought it and used it on.

It comes as the pic's, But if you want i can measure it to see where it will join on the car, But i'm sure its a Cat back system, so the cat is left in place.
