'The Ace' has always had a reputation for going off big style, considering it's held on a public highway. Apparently there were 2 old bill cars parked up down the side streets as the 'Parcel Force' lorry drivers have been complaining about the festivities. Though the inside info is the surveilance cameras in the cars were not switched on, they were just there as a visual deterent.... As i'm sure you will have noticed it all quietened down out on the road for a bit about 20 mins before tiny and i left. I've been waiting for something like that to happen there.
Last summer, on a different night, a Mustang gave it a boot full, got completely out of shape, and stuffed it into the back of a parked Sierra Estate!! Later that summer a Ford pop rolled at the mini roundabout and went up in flames. Sh*t like that can only go 'unnoticed' (ahem) for so long. Nothing lasts forever.......
