Hmmm having difficulty with this ere knob!

Been down to Allen Ford in Northampton to collect it, its not quite what I was after. Chris on parts there is top lad and spent ages trying to track down what I need.

The knob thats arrived is not leather (I thought Cossie 4x4 all had leather knobs) but there is no collar to operate the reverse lift mech. I was thinking it would come with the knob, but appears not.

Is the lifting section that engages with the horseshoe bit with the bowden cable through the lever, the separate plastic tube (just ordered that at £3) or is it actually attached to the gear lever gaiter itself?

Anyone know part numbers etc? No Ford manuals/EPC etc seem to be precise on what goes where etc!

I think when the box in the car was switched to MT75 the knob arrangement was an after thought!
