You do realise uncut mint rear speaker pods go for decent money. I paid £60 on ebay a few years back for a set because I specifically wanted a mint set.
Best thing to do with a cabriolet is do what I did. Just fit a set of good quality component speakers in the front and totally disconnect the rear ones.
