i've not tried the toyo t1r's but my friend has them on his escort cosworth and hates them, soft side walls and wear out stupidly quick acording to him.

i've got a 2l focus zetec mk1 with 16's. did have falken fk452's on which are a damn good tyre but i've just bought some new wheels for daily use so i've fitted them with hankook ventus s1 evo as couldnt get the v12's at competative price and got very similar reviews on all the review sites.

i've actually fitted 205/55/16 instead of 205/50/16 as the s1's dont seem availible in standard size aswell as 55's bein cheaper and more cofortable on the road and better pot hole damage protection.

my rating after being on for a week. fooking excelent in all conditions. they're banded and ultra stable and can be fitted to either side of the car as non-direcional!!! i absolutely love them!! they feel soft to the touch so will have to see how long they last but all good so far.

only down side for fitting bigger for me has been occational front driver wheel arch scrapage as i refitted it badly and the lip pokes down

go hankooks mate. EVERYWHERE i go they get the best reviews by fay and for me were only £72 a corner fully fitted.
