id get a st170 manifold (this needs slightly modding to fit i beleive)
stainless stell exhaust, piper mangex etc etc
maybe a remap and light weight flywheel

about as good as youll get without spending big money, obviously helps if you can fit the parts yourself.

good brakes and suspension will help to make the car feel quicker to as you can give it more
