just joined after getting my hands on an old favourite of mine an XR4x4. Although its a 2.8 (88 E) its had an MT75 box fitted. The gear knob has pretty much fallen apart.

Just checking before getting a new one though. Do all MT75 equiped cars come with the lift collar for reverse? The remains of what is on has a small white plastic section that is fastened to the selectors by a cable but the cover has gone, the knob itself has lost its cover and is one attached to the lever by a grub screw into a groove in the lever.

Seen a few offered on net but would like a definative answer before buying anything from fleebay.
