Process:

Wheels/tyres/arches cleaned
Snowfoam car,leave to swell for 5-10minutes,depends on how hot the day is and if you are doing this in direct sunlight(you dont want it drying in)

Rinse
foam(remove bugs,TFR,and dirt from awkward places)
wash
rinse
de-tar
wash
rinse
clay
wash
rinse
dry

then it is up to you where to go from there,wether you polish by hand or take a machine to it
