Golf TDi 150 engines are supposed to be good as well!

Personally I have a Laguna hatchback derv workhorse, the boot is bigger than the Grand Canyon - I've yet to find anything that won't fit and i've shifted a lot of stuff! Economy isn't bad - 650-700 miles from a £50 tank. Been reliable for the last 20k in 12 months. Depreciation isn't an issue when it cost £1700 for a 2000 W reg car.

Only problem is it is a boat and looks crap!

Suits me for long motorway jaunts though... Wouldn't hesitate to recommend one for someone in a lower price range!!!
