If he is aiming for 1000bhp on a motor that runs 550bhp N/A then its going to need in the region of just over a bar of boost or so to get him into the right ballpark.


Fudgeass, i dont really know a lot about exactly what he does to the 1.8T to get those sort of figures, he as one at the moment though (in an A4 funnily enough, its a customer car, should be finished in a couple of months) if you PM me at the weekend to remind me (i work away from home during the week and dont see him) i can get some details off of him.

I do know its more than just a change of injectors though, he uses aftermarket management, a bigger turbo, and different internals as well, i believe that for about 300 you can do it on a more or less standard engine though, personally i wouldnt bother though in an A4, i would just sell it and buy an S4 instead, rather than tune the nuts off such a little engine!
