My local Halfords sells bigger sockets in imperial sizes.

Would 1 5/8ths be close enough, esp. one that grips the flats rather than the corners? Would be worth taking a spare nut down with you, just to be sure it will fit - these are supposed to be replaced anyway, so maybe get new ones from the Ford dealership then go to Halfords.
