Hesitation/holding back problem still
Right gonna try sort this before it goes to be set up or im gonna have to leave them to fix it.
Basically when pulling away or slow driving when just touching the throttle the car holds back and hesitates and kangaroos till u give it abit more throttle then its fine, even when it comes on boost its fine.
It also has a prob with the ISCV as when its plugged on it'll hold the revs high unless u unplug it and its fine, and had enough now having to wait for it to warm up before its ok to drive and not stall lol. It seems to idle higher too when plugged on when it has warmed up a bit.
I've tried another ISCV and its the same, ive swapped the TPS for another one and it still does it, ive also done a voltage test and resistance test on the TPS and seems ok too!!! The only thing i did find was the butterfly wasnt opening fully at WOT but sorted that and hasnt cured the problem.
Is there anything else that would/could cause this?! coolant or ACT sensor?! Crank sensor is fine and gapped as is the phase sensor.
The only thing that changed from when the chip was fitted was that the head is now ported and the chip was for the head when it was standard, but would that affect the ISCV and cause this hesitation?! Its running rich but been told thats probably due to the porting and changing the chip will sort that, could the map on the chip be causing this problem too?!
Cheers
