agggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
right as some of you know, the cam belt snapped on the missus clio last week, so i spent all my spare time fukkin about with it, replaced all 8 valves and got it all back together.
then it came to do the timing,,,
it says to set cylinder 1 to TDC on the compression stroke, so i turned the cam until the inlet valves opened then on to the making on the cam sproket and head to line tham up.
and the missus old man put a needle file into the spark plug hole to find TDC, i cranked it a little bit....
PING, half the fookin needle file shoots out
head off again, remove bit of file, reassemble and do the same to put the cam belt on, crank cam so inlet valves have just opened and shut to marks on head and sproket, and set the bottom crank pully to the marks on it and the oil pump.
cam belt on, crank by hand, it all still lines up
reassemble engine, go to fire it up, will almost start but not quite
so took a plug out, missus cranked it over, i must have been touching the metal as i got one fukkin hell of a belt

fookin makes you jump i tell thee...
anyway still wont go, petrol is pissing in so not that either, so i take all the plugs out shove bog roll in each one and turn it over, all bits except on cylinder 1 pop out, so no comp on cyl 1??
thats the one the needle file snapped off in, could it have fukked a valve??
im mighty fukked oiff with it now, took a chunk out of my thumb, cut my left hand to fukkery and im knackered.
so gotta go back to swindon to do it all again
any ideas on why its being a c*nt???
