Sometimes I'm not motivated. I go through fits and starts and I do get to that stage where I can't be arsed and think I may as well give up as there is more to life and my time could be better spent elsewhere. However its something I have done for years and I find it hard to give up. A week or so off will usually see me clucking to get back into the gym as its kinda ingrained into me now.

The best motivation you can have is progress. Without it you get into a spiral of not being bothered. All it takes for me is a cracking session at the gym where you walk out of there hurting and you know tomorrow your hardly going to be able to get out of bed, let alone have a shower!! That for me is the best motivator as to me thats a great feeling and I want to replicate it! Its all about knowing your effort has been worthwhile. That effort will then be reqarded in the results you get and there in starts the reverce of a vicious circle. Call it a tame circle if you like.
