FWD is about things like not having a diff under the back of the car which means the boot floor can be lower to improve load space, its about being cheaper to make, its about being a more efficient transmission whch is better for economy.

The reasons for cars being FWD have little to do with performance or how cars drive, its all about money and practicality.
