On my T34, I could see 2 bar of boost at 2800rpm with the nitrous used as antilag and 1000rpm later without it, and the time to spool when in the boost threshold was cut by probably 80% or so.

So IMHO, very effective.

My T34 was punchier on the gas than a small turbo escort is!
