Mmmm right looking for some "direction" if thats the best word. My Virgin contract has just ended. I was paying £55 a month for>
100 channels (NO HD or recording stuff etc)
Unlimited landline anytime
20Mb broadband
I have been very happy to be honest but am looking maybe towards some HD stuff as I dont think i am putting my tv to the best use as possible. So i was looking to Sky, but tbh the differences are not that much in all honesty.
They both have very clever marketing eg regarding the HD stuff>
Virgin offer 14 HD Channels, and is free except for £49 for the box. A lower TV package means a £5 charge per month
SKY offer the HD + box for free, but charge £10 a month for a so called 35 channels, but reading into it you only get those channels if you subscribe to another package for example movies.
On top of this i want a tv in the bedroom and virgin want £30 for a box and then £5 a month. Sky give you the box but then charge you £10 a month!
So, im a bit in awe now of the route i should be going or simpy stay as i am? Whats your views or opinions please?
