Hoping someone can help out here, mother in law has an electric mobility scooter that she uses now and then, well she dropped the charger yesterday and it doesnt work anymore. Give it to me seen as though I "work with electricity"!!! Jeez, anything below 100Amp doesnt register in my world so all this milliamp shit has me stumped. Ive opened it up but cant see anything untoward. Nothings come loose and nothing is touching the chasis or another component, theres one joint that 'could' be a dry joint but doesnt look it really on a resistor. There £70 for a replacement and I dont fancy that cos you know it will be muggins here paying for it. Anyone got any idea whats likely to be knackered. Ive changed fuse and power lead as it took a pull when it fell (only at plug end not charger end). Supply is getting to the unit and the power light flashes on when you turn it on but goes straight off. Nice way to spend a sunday
