Plenty of people run stock rods for well over 200bhp and are fine, I was just pointing out that is the weak point and how low they have been known to go.

Yes pretty much, again it's a bit of pot luck with the rods themselves too, I supose it depends on how well they were cast, how many imperfections etc..
