You got the idea to smooth off the handles and sidestrips but to me it looks like you have thrown filler/Mulliput into the bits you wanted filling, scuffed them over with sandpaper and slung some paint on it. Would have taken a matter of minutes to get them spot on, a little more filler and a little more rubbing down to get them 100%.

Small things like that make such a bigger difference to the overall look of a model, with models you cant go down the route of function over form unless your looking at doing a rat look car or banger racer etc.

I dont mean to offend you but I say what I mean, I personally think the Escort looks great!
