After reading this and i was you, i would just buy one. I hear that some folks keep the O2 sensor plugged in and cable tie it up in the engine bay, its gives a Huge O2 content figure to the ECU but does not throw up a code. And this sensor does not control how the engine runs so even witht he very high reading the engine will run ok
