no need to change shafts, they fit perfect.

done it on my 2l which has the mtx75 box and loads have done it on 1.8s and 1.6s.

i warn you now though the hub nuts need torqueing to 316 NM!!!!! i had to buy a new torque wrench to do this job and that still only went upto 300NM so just tweeked it a bit more
