Another John P needing an escort cosworth engine rebuilding. Looks like your going for a higher spec than me. Mines only a small turbo anyway and am looking to do the whole job for less than £1500. Your right about goodes being a bit pricey. Got 16 new valves, valve guides, hydraulic tappets n stem seals for £315. Will cost to have the guides pressed in but thats the top end sorted. Sourced some mahle 0.5 o/s pistons for 340. I reckon bits are going to total about £1100. Just hope it lasts another 107000 miles before it needs doing again...
