they accepted my severe hardship claim, which tbh is true and i got a great letter from work. The fine should have been 800 plus 85 costs but cos i have 2 children who i pay csa to, he gave me a reduction so in total is 635 as opposed to 885
The judge was really nice tbh and took into consideration i have 11 years no claims and the fact that the royail mail let me down, but he did make it clear that it was for me to check and not simply assume
as long as they lesson has been lernt (remembering to keep on top of your docs) i'm sure the judge had better things to do than to see anotherhard up driver walking down the road
