I've just had a quick look at the graphs and as much as I'd LOVE to pick holes in it, it doesn't appear to be far out in terms of procedures. OK, so they used Shoot_4F, not what we would do. But strictly speaking its the correct mode. We tend to use Shoot_4, which is for N/A but gives a slower ramp rate and a more realistic boost curve. They used 4th gear, which again isn't quite right, it wouldn't make that much difference.
I can only suggest it lost traction. The fact that the peak in power is almost precisely where it comes onto hard torque, I reckon thats what happened. The power drops after that, which is a shite power curve really. It's not too hard to imagine where the power would have been, had the torque not ramped to 420lb/ft, but to a more believeable 360lb/ft.
Oddly, they measured the Intake Temp at 4° colder than the Ambient Temp. Not quite sure how they did that?!!? In any case, that would have caused a negative compensation.
