An idiot however may well block up a perfectly good door, as they are unlikely to enquire about the details and are very likely to make assumptions beyond their intelligence.
i think the point is paddy from your pics in your first post on the thread it looks like the frame is a fixed obstruction but as you say its just lifts out of the way
personally i advise a CU to be easily accessed/seen ie not hidden but if the end user puts a cupboard round once signed off then thats that
