Try and get a hold of most of the parts yourself - you'd be surprised how much that will take off your final bill as you will only be paying for labour. Garage i was going to use were going to buy a new set of pistons for mine for £400 - I got a brand new set on ebay for £150. £250 already saved on just one item.

You should be able to pick up some good deals, especially at this time of year.
