check the rocker cover isnt warped or been sanded down too much in one place, i have had customers cars where the monkeys have concentrated rubbing in one place to get rid of discoloured metal and made the rockercovers look like the pennines lol!

dont tighten it down too hard as you will damage the gasket, and i always use a small ammount of GOOD sealer, none of the "silicone" shit though.
