I need to remove my engine and box. Now I know the workshop manual and the majority of people say drop the engine and box out the bottom.

Col, I've a Clarke engine support bar to support the engine before it drops out the bottom.

James, if I remove the diff as above and seperate the box from the engine, will the engine lift out the top? Is there any advantage to this vesus dropping out the bottom? I need to put the engine and box in another car that is a rolling shell at the moment.
