With regard to viscous coupling diffs, as far as I know CTS and Bara will both restore/uprate a VC type diff. I'd suggest you need access to specialist equipment/viscous fluids to do it yourself. Depending on where you live in the country take it along to one of those guys to get it done.
Obviously you've still got the problem of the OE gears.

Unless you can buy bits secondhand and/or fit/machine bits yourself or at mates rates it will be a four figure sum for a plated/Quaife diff up and running
