I'm looking at setting up an inductive speed sensor to 'read' one of my bell/rotor bolts for my dash.

The kit that i've got has a small magnet that i need to mount, my only concern is that to make it work correctly (sensor spacing etc.) i'll need to use a different bolt, around 6mm longer and mount a small magnet on the end of it.

My only concern is that obviously this will mean that at one point in every rotation there will be slightly more weight in one spot on the rotor/bell assembly.

Is this likely to cause a noticeable vibration?
