Just tried to load up one of the maps from my dreamscience DSF2000 to my FRS and i'm getting a fault code 18 which says Unlock Failure according to the LEDs.

Was onto the crowd i bought it off and they reckon some other map may have been on there already but the car was standard when i bought it. They are looking into it from their end but does anyone know of any way to check whether the ECU has had a map loaded up already?

Also where is the ECU located?Is it near the drivers side footwell?
