although you do get a healthier spark a iggy system in decent order shouldn't have any problem, the problem is the ford coil on the cossie wasn't decent to start with.
You have zero idea how hard it is to fire a spark in a huge power combustion chamber obviously.
Incidentally coilpack came out due to COST nothing else, it was cheaper to make than a dizzy simple as that, more energy was a sideffect.
Absolute rubbish, it was developed to increase the energy so we could ignite modern lean mixtures and in order to do that we need to increase the dwell time.
