82C stat will do exactly jack shit, but if wanted a QH one can be had for around £3, boggo std fit on millions of cars.
Why people think a 6C difference in running temps will avoid problems is a laugh, I know some people even think it will prtect your head gasket better as well, complete bollocks.
My fan comes in at 95C and goes off at 92C(aftermarket ecu fan control), even 100 or 105C will cause NO problems to engine, boost kills hg's not temps of around 100C
All a 82C will do is give you a worse heater.
