Limit for standard clutch is said to be 180 ish.

I got a Helix uprated clutch (not yet delivered) from 'rallynuts' which may be as far as you could go without fitting an AP paddle clutch which I think will be up to coping with 200ish bhp.

But if you go the AP paddle clutch route you have the bother of dismantling the clutch pedal and replacing it with one from a MK5/6 escort and replacing the clutch quadrant etc as per AP's recommended instructions but will cope with more power.
