I have told that the stage 1 T3 is a standard turbo and is not hybrid. But I have limited knowlegde of my Escort so you may be better asking someone in the no! I was told by Turbo Technics at the time of purchase that this was a stage 2 hybrid, as it was what I was advised to buy from them by a friend.
