I don't see why you wan't to change unless you want outputs such as the said ALS, LC or the likes of water injection which you stated you don't.
Theres nothing I know of that will make the car any better at 400HP with an L8 opposed to L6.

Its standard at the moment, just rebuilt it, have not driven it yet, it does not have an ECU in it at the moment but i want closed loop, anti lag and launch control, Just not at the moment, just want to get it on the road and use it for a while. I also want to replace the loom so want everything in place so i know what i need to order when i get the new loom.
