If it was sparking this shows the ecu was getting a clean signal from the crank sensor, ie the sensor was ok.
I would do the wiggle test, don't keep starting up every 2 days, you'll coke it up big time, they run rich on a std ecu, much richer than the engine needs, famous for sooting plugs.
What plugs did you put in, what spec is the cossie, a set of IK27 are very good plugs.
What you need to do is wait for it to conk out and see what's missing ie spark or fuel.
The cps connector loom side play up, as the terminals lose thier grip on the pins so have a wiggle here esp.
