Ah well, I didn't put the thottle gasket back on because it was ripped and didn't have a new one. Wouldn't have thought that it would let that much air in though.
it most certainly will mate get a new one on and you will be sorted, also put a new cambelt on you should NEVER re use a timing belt no matter how new it is as it WILL snap
