the only difference is the injector cut outs really, an mfi one can have this cut out to be like the efi head.
as for efi head, you can use any efi cvh head, so 2i/3i frst.
just sold my spare and is in the post, you could just use an adaptor plate if you already have a worked head and don't want to open up the inlet ports for the injectors.
