Hi Rich, nice to see you still going with the Ka after all this time.

The 1.8 sump is needed because of the gearbox and the exhaust.

I have an RS1800 inlet for my 2.1ZT Ka and the RS1800 is obviously a n/a fiesta so i should think that would be better than the standard. They are relatively cheap to get but yo uwill have bonnet clearance issues IIRC, the CVH 'over the top' inlet fouls the bonnet unless spaced.

Also to everyone else: The zetec engine actually weighs similar or less than the original ka engine, only diff is that it has a higher centre of gravity because of the huge 16v head compared to the 70's-tastic endura engine.
