i have played COD on Xbox and its just the same regarding poor host selection and lag during peak times.

the issue also is a fast upload speed hence when your connection is shared this is dramaticly reduced resulting in lag.
realisticly internet speeds are not quite there for lag free gaming we all need to run 50 mb
