I just got a text message from him denying ever having received the ECU, so I phoned him and reminded him of the fact that Chris Honeywell's wife gave it to him in PERSON.

Where upon he said that she gave it to his brother who was baby-sitting that night (funny as Chris's wife didn't know he had a TWIN brother ).

He now "realises" he has in fact got the ECU, but said that you never phoned him or anything to ask / tell him about it .

I would suggest following this up ASAP on the phone, and leave a message if he doesn't answer.
