I have a kitcar which currently has a powerengineering 1.9 cvh in it (may be for sale shortly, pm if interested) and am looking to do a zetec conversion on it shortly.

The engines sound and runs well but i fancy a change and a project, and as im probably going be selling the car in the next few years the zetec we help resale.

Hopefully aiming for around 150 with minor mods, running tubular 2" exhaust and a pair of dellorto 40's or 45's (cvh is on 40's but i might change them).

Clearly the blacktops in general will be lower millage as they will be newer, but im wondering which of the two engines has the better build/support/tuning potential?

And generally and other differences?
