Are you simply happy with someone you just get on with or do they have to meet with a certain criteria?

Reason I ask is I've just been talking with a lass I know. She's 28, well educated and in a good job. She's not long split up with her fella who was university educated and a PE teacher at a local high school.
She went out on a date with a mate of mine who's but a mere postman and they got on really well. But she turned round to me tonight and said there's no future in it because they're ultimately different intellects and she wants someone on her level......... She's a proper fitty too!

I think if two people get on what the hell, go for it!
